Women driven
by dreams

Not just another team in the race. The Iron Dames project stands for all women willing to go beyond their limits and all women driven by dreams.

Born to
make history

Iron Dames is a special project created and led by Deborah Mayer, entrepreneur, driver, and President of FIA Women in Motorsport Commission (WIM), with the aim of supporting women in motorsport at all levels, from drivers through to mechanics, engineers, managers, and marketing.

Born in 2018, they are the first all-female line up in history to compete in endurance racing, achieving excellent results. Year-after-year, the team is participating in more and more championships, celebrating multiple historic breakthroughs in motorsport – becoming the first females to win many races and championships.

Since its inception, the Iron Dames have been officially supported by the FIA through the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission (WIM).
Now, with the appointment of Deborah Mayer as FIA WIM President, this collaboration is a huge step into building inclusivity for women in motorsport, both behind the wheel and in management roles.

We will

We are the
Iron Dames.

Iron, from the name Iron Lynx from which the project stems, and perfectly fitting strong, powerful women, able to fight in such a hard field as motorsport. And Dames, a fancy word for women.
Dames who don’t need knights.

Women Driven by Dreams. Because every woman can reach her goals, when fuelled by hard work, resilience, and passion. Just like our team.

#BEANIRONDAME, the Iron Dames’ hashtag. A motto that crosses the boundaries of motorsport and invites everyone to follow the road that leads to her dreams. Every woman can be an Iron Dame. Whatever the dream, if you work hard and do your best, you can make it come true.
