Iron Lynx returns to Michelin Le Mans Cup

Today, Italian racing team, Iron Lynx has announced it is further expanding its racing programme for this season by returning to the Michelin Le Mans Cup series.

Hiroshi Hamaguchi, the Pro-Am class Champion for 2019 Blancpain GT Europe Sprint Series and FIA Motorsports Games GT class winner, will contest the #63 Iron Lynx Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 in its bright green livery along with one other driver, who will be announced in the near future, for the six-round championship.

The Michelin Le Mans Cup season kicks off on the 20th April at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain, where the Italian team will also be racing a Porsche 911 RSR-19 in the LMGTE category of the European Le Mans Series opener the same weekend.

Iron Lynx Team Principal, Andrea Piccini, said: “We are really excited to race in the Michelin Le Mans Cup Series once again. We have many good memories over the years having been the back-to-back winners of the team championship in 2020 and 2021. 

“Hiroshi brings great experience of racing, and we are all looking forward to working with him.”
