Iron Lynx, after unveiling the ambitious GT programmes with 5 Ferrari in the European Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup and 24 Hours of Le Mans, extends its outreach in the most important promotional category, the Formula 4, where already last year managed the two cars of the Abu Dhabi Racing Team in collaboration with Prema Powerteam.

Leonardo, fifteen years old, was selected in 2019 by ACI Sport as one of the five best Italian go kart driver and took part to the Supercorso Federale, promoted
in partnership with Ferrari Driver Academy. In preparation for Leonardo’s debut in Formula 4, Iron Lynx, under the eyes of Andrea Piccini, Team Manager of the Formula 4 Racing Team, is carrying out an intense testing program. Already completed those at Vallelunga, Misano and Mugello and Imola, the next one will be again at Misano. We are very satisfied that Leonardo will stand for our team’s colours in the championship considered the most competitive for young drivers coming from the karting,
says Andrea Piccini.
Formula 4 is the first stage in the car racing for the drivers who dream to reach the Formula 1, it needs not only a big talent, but also ripeness and a great determination.
Leonardo is serious and concentrated, training always strongly with our simulator at Cesena. This allowed him to come back on the track well prepared, getting back the right feeling with the car and the team very quickly.
He has a good basic speed, most of all in the fastest sectors, he follows advices and is well-liked from the team: this is essential to build a good work environment, which is the basis for the success. With these prerequisites, even if we know that we will meet high competitive and well prepared rivals, I think that we will be able to score points very soon and also to fight for the podium in the rookie standings.Leonardo’s debut will be on the Misano World Circuit in the first weekend of August, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd.
