The Italian racer is looking to bring his wealth of experience to the Iron Lynx team.

In the team’s ELMS campaign, Ferrari Competizioni GT driver, Davide Rigon will make a welcome return where he will join Claudio Schiavoni and Matteo Cressoni in a full season entry who will compete in the LMGTE category.

The all-female Iron Dames project will now race in FIA WEC and GTWC under its own licence in 2022 and will be continuing with its 24 Hours of Le Mans line-up of last year, with Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting and Rahel Frey getting full seasons in FIA WEC LMGTE Am category, ELMS LMGTE category, GTWC Europe Gold Cup as well as the all-important 24 Hours of Le Mans and 24 Hours of Spa.

In Ferrari Challenge, the team will be fielding four full season entries consisting of Doriane Pin in Trofeo Pirelli Pro, with Arno Dahlmeyer and Marco Pulcini – a new member of the team – competing in the Am category. Claudio Schiavoni will also be racing in the Coppa Shell category in tandem with his FIA WEC and ELMS commitments.

Iron Lynx will again be taking part in GTWC with two Pro line-ups, with the drivers being announced at the end of February.

In addition to GT racing, the team is still committed to supporting the next generation of single seater racing talent and will announce its Italian and ADAC Formula 4 driver announcements in due course.

Team principal for Iron Lynx, Andrea Piccini, said:

“We are thrilled to announce our driver line-ups and series we’ll be competing in for 2022, with some exciting additions and continuity that can only help push Iron Lynx and Iron Dames further forward in the coming year. We had such an incredible year in 2021, and we will approach the upcoming season with that same spirit. We know that it will be difficult to repeat the success of 2021 but this will be our target for this season.

“The Iron Dames are also delighted to see the return of Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting and Rahel Frey across multiple championships for 2022. We are looking forward to more positive results, with all three drivers showing already great promise last year.

“Doriane Pin competing for us in the Ferrari Challenge is a great addition to our plans, and we have high expectations there.”
