ELMS and MLMC stop off in Belgium, at Spa-Francorchamps, in one of the circuits where has been written the history of motorsport. Iron Lynx lines up its five Ferrari 488 GTE and GT3 with great ambition, after the first round’s fantastic weekend of the season that took place at Paul Ricard (France).
The line-up made of Giacomo Piccini and Rino Mastronardi will attend at the starting line of the Michelin Le Mans Cup being the crew to be beaten, after their fantastic victory starting from the pole in the first round.
The team-mates Claudio Schiavoni and Andrea Piccini, which made an impressive performance in France where they took third place, will fight at full speed to get on the Podium.
Deborah Mayer and Michelle Gatting at the wheel of the car #9 will defend Iron Dame’s colours in the Michelin Le Mans Cup and will represent the first all-female line-up in this competition.
In the European Le Mans Series the Iron Dames’ Podium at Le Castellet, made of Manuela Gostner, Rahel Frey and Michelle Gatting, was certainly a good starting point to keep growing further.
We showed to be fast in both the championships. In the Michelin Le Mans Cup Giacomo and Rino are expected to win, while in the ELMS the fight is harder. However, we know to be competitive and we are confident.
At Spa we can have good results since the qualifying, when we will try to get what slipped us away in France: the pole position.
Spa is one of my favourite tracks and this is another reason to try to regain what I lost during the first round.
